Discover Scuba Diving

Have you ever wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. At SCUBA DREAM we offer a version of this program, this can either be in a pool or at Eight Acre Lake. Our pool sessions run on Saturday evenings at Haltemprice Leisure Centre in Hull 5.30-7.30pm.

Whilst not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you'll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world, ready to move on to your Open Water course.

This can be the perfect gift to a friend, family member or even yourself!

What a great way to introduce children to scuba diving

This takes part in a safe pool environment with less than 2 meters of water.

Children aged 8+ years can join in the family fun of scuba diving or even start a trend! Children should be comfortable in the water, but they don't have to be super swimmers. With youngsters in mind, the maximum depth is only 2 meters/ 6 feet.

Skin Diver

Learn to snorkel and skin dive!

Explore the underwater world from the surface using a snorkel.

The PADI Skin Diver certification helps you get - and keep - your fins wet. While snorkeling is limited to peering down from the surface, skin divers generally venture further than snorkelers, making frequent surface dives to interact with aquatic life, up close and personal.

Seal Team

The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba AquaMissions.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to dive with torches, take digital pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut? There are AquaMissions that introduce you to wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more.
